In the Beginning…

After much thought and procrastination, I am finally putting pen to paper… no, I’m actually putting finger tips to keyboard but regardless, I am writing my first blog post.
I realize I’m late to the self-publishing party, but my hesitation stems from the challenge to creatively put thoughts into words. Usually I’m artistically fluent when working on a collection, but the thought of channeling creativity into words scares me a bit. I am not a writer, however I do have a nagging desire to share my inspirations and stories behind the pieces I design. Each piece has a wonderful story and a history behind it and up until now I have only been able to share these with Double D Ranch™
collectors through one-on-one conversations or via email. There has been a gap in effectively communicating these stories both practically and economically. Fortunately for me and everyone else, we now have the technology for instant and global self-publishing. We can now connect literally to the world.
So with that being said, let us begin…
