Jack Fork Mtn. Jacket
Double D Ranch’s™ “Jack Fork Mountain” jacket will be your ‘go to’ jacket this fall even if you don’t chop wood for a living. The suede finished edges omit the need for facings so this jacket stays lightweight and sporty. Different from a barn jacket, this silhouette is a simple, slim blazer-cut with the collar designed to be worn up or folded back for two totally different looks. I added the suede tie-belt and huge antler buttons to give it a rough-hewn effect.
Interesting Tidbit: the inspiration for this fabric was taken from a pair of vintage hunting, lumberjack pants a friend of ours owned. They were heavy and scratchy, but we loved the ombre effect the black and cream yarns made. Luckily we were able to collaborate with Woolrich Woolen Mills (on the fabric side – not the finished goods side) to reproduce this fabric in a lighter weight and mixed yarn blend.
Now you don’t have to be a scratchin’ lumberjack to wear it.
