Cheryl/Tracie-
I am a 2 1/2 year survivor. I just had my "symmetry procedure" 2 weeks ago to finalize my reconstructive surgery that I had last October. Like Tracie, I also had my ovaries removed to decrease the chance for recurrence. All I can say is that Tracie spoke my feelings exactly. I am a different person since diagnosis. A better one, I dare say. Get your mammograms, request ultrasounds and even MRI's if you feel something is wrong. YOU ARE YOUR BEST ADVOCATE. Don't let ANYONE tell you otherwise! Theta love, Ann Debes Watkins (Baylor Theta pledge class 1979)

I'm on the front row, second from the left, in the dark green sweater between M'Lissa Bradford Howen and Jan Lill Work. Tracie and I were roomies at Baylor during graduate school. She is one of the most beautiful people I've ever known. Love ya, sister!

Cheryl:

This is a great way to put it together with a very important reminder! I'm vigilant about my mammogram - the disease took my grandmother and my Mom is a 16 year survivor.

As for where I am in the picture above, you can't miss me in the bright green cords on the front row!
