I just had my "symmetry procedure" 2 weeks ago to finalize my reconstructive surgery that I had last October. Like Tracie, I also had my ovaries removed to decrease the chance for recurrence. All I can say is that Tracie spoke my feelings exactly. I am a different person since diagnosis. A better one, I dare say. Get your mammograms, request ultrasounds and even MRI's if you feel something is wrong. YOU ARE YOUR BEST ADVOCATE. Don't let ANYONE tell you otherwise!
