I hate missing Dallas!! The room looks beautiful and it is such a great space to work in. I really miss seeing all my Texas friends.
Ohmygosh the Fall looks are gorgeous! The knee-length (is it knit?) embroidered dress is dynamite – I can see it with boots……are you still doing any long knit skirts? I still have some I just love…..what great possibilities to mix with denim or go dressy. Pardon my drooling…….
yes, it’s called Mosaics in Marrakech and will probably be the #1 dress for the season. It is done in a simple jersey knit / t-shirt weight. The embroidery is killer!
What? You didn’t go?
Unfortunately, I don’t have my store anymore……so I am looking in as a customer rather than a retailer…I miss markets so much and connecting with friends we made and getting to see what’s new – also miss the great Double D sample room!!!
Cheryl you have the best eye!
I mean no one even has to buy this stuff (HEHEHEHEHE!)
and it just looks unbelievable! What a gift!
Thanks Jeff. I’m glad you can appreciate it from a guys view point! Gals, are you listening?
I have bought DD for some time and love your designs. But, I was really glad to see you love the Lord. I saw the recent jacket called The Gate with a cross on the back, I figured you were a believer. God Bless.
Lauri, I can’t tell you how important and affirming your comment is to me. Sometimes when I’m working I can get so deep in spiritual thought that I’m not even conscience of what I am designing – then BOOM – something like ‘The Gate Tee’ appears! God is amazing and has had his hand on Double D Ranch for years. We give him all the credit and glory.
As for the “Gate Tee’, I plan to blog on it Easter week. I am doing a “Way of the Cross” series with all our Double D Ranch pieces focusing on the cross and scriptural references.
Again, thank you so much for posting your comment. I always wonder if any body notices or if it is just my little thing – your comment tonight is perfect!
I hope to get to meet you some day and if not, … I see you there! PARTY!
Both Denver and Dallas markets were so much fun this year. Our showrooms were packed with current and new customers. It was so exciting to visit with stores and hear that they were thriving in this crazy economy. We all feel so blessed!
I am still trying to dig out after being gone for almost two weeks. It may take longer than I had anticipated!
