We passed three different groups on our way into Yoakum yesterday. They all looked so cold. It seems like each year we get bad weather the first week of Rodeo.

Yes, Chris, I'm looking for those pictures! I want to dig them out and post them - we had such a great time on that ride. Barbara and Colin were hysterical - they couldn't understand why people would want to do this "trail-ride thing". Yes, and of course we had to make it a fashion show - we are always looking for an excuse to pull out the vintage Double D!

I agree, Dorothy! I was freezing just standing there for a few minutes to take their pictures. They sure were dedicated and having lots of fun, though.

I love it! This brings back memories when I was growing up and Trail Riders would come through Hallettsville heading to the Houston Rodeo. It would be cold and rainy but there were 100's of riders. They would camp out for the night in Wied, TX . There was a big stew and the annual Trail Riders dance!

Cheryl, I can picture you now out there takin those pics...dogs and all.
