I know exactly how you feel about the West. I too have spent LOTS of time in both Utah (my home state — Park City!) and Jackson Wyoming (Tetons are so full of drama and beauty).

I get homesick on a daily basis — I am currently marooned in the mid-Atlantic with my spouse for his work. Although Virginia is beautiful, for sheer adventure it’s no competition for the alpine beauty of the West.
