Rumals are two-sided embroidered cloths used to cover gifts and food offerings. Traditional motifs include flowers, birds, deities, and animals. The word ‘rumal’ means ‘handkerchief.

Beautiful style! Like the “Culture Clash”. These looks like some Suzani rugs you’ve got on the picture – probably wool. Similar to the silk ones in my Flickr gallery.
