Junking on the Postcard Junket
I ran up to Austin for the day to catch the Capital of Texas Postcard Show and Sale. I met some nice folks, picked up some great cards, and came home with some wicked hangnails from digging in boxes all day.
Next time I’m wearing gloves!

Here is my favorite find from the junket: a nice die-cut, novelty leather postcard. It is so cool, – it opens up to hold your little missive.
Don’t you think it would make a great invitation or hang tag?

love it!
I’m jealous! That sounds like a fun junking outing. I do think that the leather card would make a great hangtag. (I collect any cool hangtags that I can get my hands on…still need to make a collage with my Double D hangtags, as I have several leather crosses from the jackets as well as a number of the fabric tags from the jeans a couple seasons back!)
I haven’t gotten the leather postcard pillow out of my mind that you posted several months back…now you’ve just reinvigorated the collector in me!!!
me too!
did I ever send you more DDR labels and hangtags or did I go senile again?
oooh, I love vintage postcards ~ I can’t imagine a whole show of them ~ another day of junkin heaven
Fancy – you would of LOVED it!
No Cheryl, you mentioned sending those awhile back, but we never discussed it further…I need fit some “art time” into my schedule to play with said labels and tags
