THE MCMULLENS DO MONUMENT VALLEY
Playing dress-up in DDR is always a good time, and lately, seeing how the sisters style each season has become a fast favorite – for us and y’all! Most of you have met the sisters by now (and if not, you basically feel like you know them from blogs and live launches and social media), so you know that while they’re recognizably cut from the same cloth, these gals are undeniably unique entities all their own, and it’s fun to see how their fashion choices reflect their individuality.
Let’s see which sister you sync up with most on Monument Valley!
CHERYL’S WORKIN’ IT
The ‘utility’ look is all the rage right now and Cheryl is making hard work look haute with the Archaeology Trek Dress. The sleeveless shift dress has a whole explorer-adventurer vibe with denim-y hues and Army olive greens, some pops of personality with the patches, and everyone’s favorite dress detail: POCKETS! And if you’re digging the aesthetic but dresses aren’t your jam, you can rock it in the jacket.
HEDY’S DRESS DU JOUR
Listen, she’s already made it clear that her hands-down favorite is the Morning Glory Dress – and it’s easy to see why – but we already gave her a whole blog post dedicated to her love for that one, so she’s showing a little love to a close second of her spring selections, the Monument Valley Dress, a chic short-sleeved midi in the season’s signature print.
AUDIE’S TRUE COLORS
Audrey was blessed with that beautiful olive skin that seems to pair with nearly every palette, but these canyon colors really complement her complexion. For her spring style, she beelined to the Monument Pass Skirt for its classic cut and comfortability and then topped it with the cool cotton Crossroads Jacket for a bit of bling.
THE PRINT WE CAN’T RESIST
Turns out, these gals are also cut from the same cloth literally. Much to our amusement, at one point or another, every McMullen gal – including Nana – came out in a different piece made from the Monument Valley print. The print is a refreshed version of one of our very first DDR designs, so perhaps it holds a little nostalgia for us that makes us particularly partial to it. Hedy donned the dress (duh) as did Cheryl, Audie paired the top with classic blue jeans, and Nana doubled down with the top and the skirt cinched with a classic concho belt – arguably our favorite look!
