"WICKED"! I love it - this could be one of my favorite fashion shoots of all time. What a clever concept in anticipation of Tim Burton's retrospective at the MOMA, ingenious styling, and great photography. Well done!

I agree. Even though Burton has a macabre penchant, he is able to add a bit of fantasy and whimsy to his art. Always well done.
Love Tim Burton! This photo shoot is a wonderful tribute to his artistic finesse!
Tim Burton is a creative genius; I love watching his movies for the costumes especially. Wish I had a trip to NYC planned, as I would totally make a stop at the MoMA to see this exhibition. Hopefully I can view online images of the show as a consolation, and of course I can’t wait for Alice In Wonderland next March!
Karen, take plenty of pics and keep us posted on both your trip and your Nutcracker project. We would love to include your pic here on the blog!
will be in NYC in Dec. and plan to check it out.I love doing costumes. I am doing a ballgown for Nutcracker this year.

Historic Route 66 will take you coast to coast, but we’re most interested in it taking us west. And in this particular issue, we are most interested in Arizona. See our top 6 stops!
When you think of stones in Southwestern and Native American jewelry, your first thought is probably turquoise – and rightfully so, it’s the most prevalent and it’s almost synonymous with the style. But turquoise has a stylistic sister-“stone” that, once you think about it, is a common and key asset to some of the most beautiful and beloved pieces.
