Happy Birthday, Nudie and thanks for blazing the bling trail!

Since I'm celebrating Nudie, I thought I would pull a Nudie-inspired Double D Ranch™ piece out of our archives and feature it today.   This collector piece is called Rock and Star Rodeo and is ca. fall of 2005.

Is it the Jimmy Dean show?

  • paul armstrong: May 16, 2016

    Hey, Hey we’re The Monkees

  • Penny Kling: May 16, 2016

I’m hoping this is where you want the answers submitted – The Nudie-mobile was in The Dukes of Hazzard.

  • Penny Kling: May 16, 2016

How do we submit an answer?? Sorry, I’m confused by this.

  • Jennifer Becker: May 16, 2016

    Head – The Monkees movie!!!
    He rocked!

  • Audrey Franz: May 16, 2016

We need one of those for the next photo shoot.

  • Hedy: May 16, 2016

Gotta love those Ukranians!!! I know I do!!

  • Cheryl: May 16, 2016

Jessica, yes it was used there, but we are looking for a CBS “sitcom”. Ponder on it and submit again.

  • Cheryl: May 16, 2016

I thought the same thing myself! Great shoot.

  • Cheryl: May 16, 2016

Jennifer, yes it was used in the Monkees movie, but we are looking for a CBS sitcom. Think about it and try again.

  • Cheryl: May 16, 2016

Actually, they wanted to use the Nudie-Mobile for the Dukes of Hazards movie but the Nudie heirs were afraid it might get damaged. Think some more and try again.

  • Cheryl: May 16, 2016

    hey Paul, think CBS sitcom.

  • Emily Inthachak: May 16, 2016

Was it Dukes of Hazzard? I was thinking maybe Boss Hogg’s car. Webb Pierce’s Bonneville done by Nudie with silver dollars, pearl-handled pistols, and longhorns in the Country Music Hall of Fame is worth the trip to Nashville.

  • Katherine Collins: May 16, 2016

    Was it the Antiques Roadshow?

  • Emily Inthachak: May 16, 2016

Green Acres? This is driving me crazy. I must be thinking in the wrong decade.

  • Cheryl: May 16, 2016

Emily, why yes, you do know your Nudie-Mobiles, but we are looking for a CBS sitcom. Try again.

  • Cheryl: May 16, 2016

right here Penny, you got it.
