Chili Christmas

Let the holidays begin!

.

I finally finished the fall collection today and am packing for our Christmas Holiday Adventure.  We're off to the mountains of Colorado with a pit-stop in Santa Fe, and I am so looking forward to having all of my family together. Since this will be our first Christmas without Dad, we decided it would be better to celebrate on the slopes.  Audrey leased a property in Colorado that will accommodate all of us and everybody is going to hold up for a few days.    We'll play games by the fire, put puzzles together, cook, ski and warm our tummies with Williams Sonoma hot chocolate (Sam's & my favorite) and celebrate the birth of our LORD.  Audrey told me she has even ordered a Christmas tree to be in place when we get there... Can you believe it?!   Yes, we will miss Dad, but I am looking forward to the new memories we will make. I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas with your family and loved ones. I'll be back in January so until then... Blessings - Cheryl PS: I'm adding a few images from this month's issue of the Santa Fean Magazine.  There is a small feature on Susan Weber's Christmas Shop and her new book,  Christmas in Santa Fe by Gibbs Smith Publishing.  I would love to see her shop while I'm there in town.
Don't you think the chili Santas are adorable?

Janet, I’ve slowed down, watching the snow fall, and have become totally useless – and I love it! Have a great Christmas and I hope you get to spend time with those you love! – c

Have a wonderful Christmas and your ladies get some rest! The good Lord knows you all deserve it! I just received my Sultan of Swing dress that I will wear on my birthday on the 22nd! It is beyond beautiful and fits perfect. Happy holidays to you and all of your family and may God’s blessings and joy fill your hearts in Colorado. Janet

That is a great way to celebrate this Christmas…we actually did the exact same thing the first Christmas after my Mom’s best friend passed away (we spent every Christmas with their family). It was a change and refreshing….Hope you and your family have a great Christmas!!
