I Just Want You to Know

Well, I wrapped up the last fall sketches

this week and have been enjoying acclimatizing

back into the "real world".

Hedy and Audrey talked me into walking down to the barn with them to see the new babies.

I so enjoyed our sisterly visit, the warm sunshine, and the new wildflowers seedlings that lined our path.

The boys had the barn humming with mommas and their new babies bedded down in fresh cedar shavings.

A surly crew of yearlings had just been brought up from the pastures and where in the early stages of conditioning for the summer sales.

We witnessed a lot of pitching and orneriness, but as I looked around I saw beauty, family, and love.
