Velvet for Spring?
Posted on 27 March 2013
We love the unexpectedness of velvet for Spring.
Velvet is a fabrication we've traditionally used for fall, but every so often we like to jostle things around a bit and do restrained injections of this luxe pile for warmer months. The key is in the color and silhouette.
For Double D Ranch's "MUSIC LIVE" collection, we turned up the velvet colors using fresh turquoises, fun pinks and bright yellows, then embellished with folksy shisha embroidery. Our "Bingol Velvet" silhouette is loose fitting and pairs perfectly over jeans, cutoffs, or leggings for a look we love!
Digging through our Double D Ranch archives, we found a couple of images of velvet from past spring collections.
