Cuff, Turquoise, Vintage, Row, Snake Eye, 2260

The Zuni people are known for their meticulous lapidary work and this old pawn snake eye bracelet is a beautiful example.  Developed during the 1930s the “snake eye” technique sets very small spherical pieces of turquoise that have been rounded and polished. In this cuff, thirteen cabochons are carefully set simple silver bezels and tipped with sterling silver raindrops. This dainty piece is lightweight and has characteristics of old Fred Harvey Railroad jewelry.
