Zuni inlay work is the next big thing for Southwest jewelry collectors.
The outstanding lapidary work on this vintage Zuni cuff represents a Ceremonial dancer, a Pueblo deity associated with personified spirits of things in the real world. It features a mosaic centerpiece of turquoise, coral, mother of pearl, and jet and is flanked with irregular shaped turquoise stones on each side of the triple wire tapered band. Besides the fabulous inlay work, this one-of-a-kind collector piece also features two repoussé leaves on either side of the dancer.
